Details: The Senior Business Data Analyst will analyze health and financial information to develop insights that support business decisions about trends on healthcare costs, quality and outcomes. The Analyst will extract, analyze and interpret benefit plan, eligibility, claims, and demographic data from many sources to answer business questions regarding outcomes on healthcare programs, delivery, products and network designs. Requires advanced technical, analytic and consultative skills. Job Duties and Essential Functions: Perform data analyses using medical, pharmacy, lab, and utilization data Evaluate data needs of assigned projects and assure the integrity of data management Extract and integrate data from multiple sources to create the analytic dataset. Define meaningful analysis and metrics to address business questions Employ valid study designs and statistical procedures appropriate to the specific business questions Execute statistical analyses and interpret results in the context of the business problem, provide insights and make recommendations Investigate alternative solutions to meet business needs; document methods, specifications and findings clearly; write/present results, findings and conclusions All other job related duties as it relates to the job function or as delegated by the management team.
