Details: Classification:  Bookkeeper Compensation:  DOE Bookkeeper/Administrative AssociateOur client, a well established financial services firm, has an immediate full-time opening for a Bookkeeper/Administrative Associate to be responsible the bookkeeping related transactions for the firm, as well as acting as personal assistant to the Chairman in addition to daily office management responsibilities.The job responsibilities will include, but not limited to:•Recording of all financial transactions and ensuring they accurate•Creating supporting documents and journal entries for monthly accruals•Creating detailed monthly client invoices•Documenting and review internal controls•Weekly financial dashboard preparations•Processing Accounts Payable, splitting bill payments, coding invoices, etc.•Maintaining Accounts Receivable, including billing, cash application and issuing creditsThe ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:•1+ years bookkeeping experience•A four-year degree is highly preferred •Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook•Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Strong customer service, organizational and time management skills
