Atkins seeks an energetic, highly motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter to join our Tampa, FL staff as a Finance Director. The qualified candidate will provide timely and relevant financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and reporting to the business and oversee related processes. They will be responsible for actively supporting the pricing/pursuit process and the mergers and acquisitions process. The selected individual will oversee group company financial staff and provide guidance and direction to the larger organization on finance issues within area of responsibility. The candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and have a solid understanding of financial systems. Previous experience with ORACLE financials is a plus. Typical duties and responsibilities of this position are: • Provides financial analysis and interpretation to senior management. • Develops, implements, and manages financial processes and management reporting across the organization. • Manages the annual planning/budgeting process for the organization. • Participates in the strategic planning process. • Provides training, guidance, and oversight to group company financial staff. • Actively supports the mergers and acquisition process for the organization. • Manages the quarterly forecasting process and develops the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) document. • Develops pricing models/analysis, supporting the pursuit process. • Works closely with Accounting, Project Finance, Revenue Accounting, Tax, and the Project Management Office. • Provides guidance and direction to the larger organization on finance issues, as appropriate. • Supports analytical needs of F G, Energy, and Aerospace groups within North America. • Performs other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
